Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer has announced that the government had decided to reduce fuel prices as from tomorrow.

Mr Soyer said the fall in fuel prices comes as a reflection of the fall in world fuel prices.

As from tomorrow, 10 kurushes will be reduced per litre.

The Premier also noted that the price of electricity is also on the agenda and any development on the issue will be reported.

He said the goal is to get harmonized with the global economy and to make right use of economic intelligence and public resources.

In a separate statement, the Minister of Finance said that recent hike in the price of electricity was directly linked to rising global fuel prices.

He said that the price of electricity could be brought down by the end of this month if fuel prices continued to fall.

That will do nicely, did not fill up today when out and about!!!!!!

The man is actually being briefed properly for a change. Fuel prices are falling, however with the Georgia Russia thing there is a good chance they will go through the roof again.
