According to press reports, the new crossing will open on the 14th October. If it does, I'd like to explore the Pomos/Polis area, a part of the island I don't know.

I assume you won't be able to take the coast road through Erinkoy. Looking at Google Earth, and southern produced maps, it looks as if the alternative is heading inland towards Troodos, and back to the coast.

It's not obvious, though, what would be the road to take, as they all look much the same on the map of Cyprus, and the map of Pafos District doesn't go that far north. Has anybody any knowledge of this area that can help?
