It is without doubt the best, however Guido was in there tonight when they had the news that the lad who drives the white van was sadly killed in a road accident. We think they said driving Ashras car. Very sad news. Obviously they were so upset and couldnt explain properly. So Sad x

Oh dear - how tragic. Paul seems to remember him as a young lad, too.

What a terrible waste of life.

We now know it was the person who supplied the vegatables to the shop.A close family friend who borrowed her car. According to the Kibris this morning he was driving at 240 km an hour. The drivers of the other vehicle are also dead. so very sad.

240 KPH is 150 MPH.

At that speed on TRNC roads?

It beggars belief.

But commiserations to the family.

A dreadful tragedy which need never have happened if he had not been going so fast. It was one the Lefkosa - Guzelyurt road and the photos in Kibris are just awful - the engine of his car was 300 metres away, from the mess of his car, in a field! What possesses people to drive so fast? Utter madness and killing two other people - for what? So many unhappy people over this event and my heart goes out the the families and friends.

Tried the gammon steaks (frozen) they were great, and at 3.50 tl they were not expensive.
