Efes the puppy had his nails clipped today

He did not like it one bit, took me and the vets wife to hold him down while Pertev did it. Efes was so frightened, he was crying and he had a wee on the floor the poor thing.



He's starting to dislike going to the vets now, always being poked and other 'nasty' things.



God knows what he'll be like at the vets if we have him neutered.



PS someone is selling a golden labrador puppy, 5 months old £500. Ad in window of supermarket before the crossroads that goes up to Hilltop Restaurant. (Lapta)

For sale??? £500 ??? When there are so many lovely dogs on the island desperate for homes. Does it come with pedigree papers for that price?? Ha ha! I think Lilli's offer is far better!



I am sure Efes will improve as he gets used to the vet.

If he gets enough exercise they should wear down naturally as he walks over rough ground...

Get yourself some nail clippers, then when your cosy on the settee with the dog , do them gently. All that fighting doens't make him want to go through this experience again. If he has a nice time while its happening he will be more willing to let you do it.



Groucho, unless your dog is doing a lot of pavement walking the nails don't wear down enough.
