HELP. I'm trying to finalise venues for my trip to Cyprus next week and all going well except I cant find reasonably priced hotels on the internet in Nicosia. Now I have found wonderful CYPRUS44 I am sure all of you out there, with your vast wealth of knowledge, will give me some hotel names that I can look up. All I am getting via 'Google' are 5*Hotels which are too expensive for me and my budget. Thanks.

There are none in Lefkosa other than the 5* as far as have ever seen.

According to the Hoteliers Association the Saray Hotel in Lefkosia is 3 star. Have you tried contacting them. saray.hotel@superonline.com just to find out their prices. Very central and known for its roof top views.

met someone that stayed in the saray last year and didn't recomend it!

in the alsancak area the santoria is only 2 star, cheep and cheerfull. great pool but drinks are expensive.
