Hi, read about Pauline Read's arrangements here http://www.northcyprusfreepress.com/2010/09/24/peaceful-candlelit-vigil-at-lefkosa-turkish-embassy-4th-october-2010-at-5pm/

You can leave a comment if you want Pauline to get in touch

I WAS all keen on this, but I am sorry I CANNOT support further corruption, nepotism and darn right flagrant abuse of International standing Law!

Yes I am a homeowner whose house is under a memorandum due to Builder owing bank extraordinary level of interest and gambling down the Casinos and want us to stump up another 25% on top of my contract price!

If there was going to be progress with the Government ona lot of issues then they would have my 100+% support AGAIN !!

Hi all,

I don't know where the Embassy is in Lefkosa, but definately know where the London one is, i will ask Pollymarples to put the address for you on this thread, hope thats ok?

ang1706( mess 11)

Why do you not think it will achieve progress with the Government? and why do you think we are corrupt, and flagrantly abusing International standing Law?

So Sorry you have got such a lot of problems with your home!

I base my thoughts on a few things!

1 The BRS has a Government Liaison Officer and what has that achieved...?

2 THE HBPG has been going for years and what has that really achieved, we are indebted to Marion Stokes and her team, but in 5 years there are nothing but new mounting problems.

3 I could loose my fully paid up house (as per my side of the contract) I lived for 18 months on my own generator and had to pay for my own Telegraph Pole etc, now as mentioned I am the one ,like many. having the stress of possibly loosing what I have cherished since 2005 because of the Builder not having enough money to pay his debts. Yet he is still operating and runs another business... the Grapevine!!

I love Cyprus , the people, the way of life but cannot see anything in progress coming to help us 'Victims'

By supporting this all you are doing is allowing the Government to carry on in its OWN sweey way and not care about anything apart from EXPATS Money !!

Is that any clearer????

Oh I almost forgot!!

After 5 years I still do not have a proper road to get to my house, sometimes when the track is blocked by a farmer all of us have to do about a 2km detour just to get to the main road. Whose fault is that you ask, the Government as it approved all access by Kocan when planning permission was given and its been up at the 'Chambers of Power' ever since!

Although it is already on the other "Protest Thread" thought I would put it on here as well!

The Address of the Turkish Embassy in Lefkosa is:-

TC LEFKOSA BUYUKEL CILIGI

TURKISH EMBASSY IN TRNC

BEDRETTIN DIMIREL CADDESI

LEFKOSA

Located just across the Street for TRNC Parliament Buildings

Pauline will hopefully be going to see the Turkish Ambassador before the 4th and will give a more detailed route, and an idea of parking facilities.

iIF YOU CARE PLEASE BE THERE

Well you have left me rather speechless, nevertheless I will try to answer your questions one by one

1) I am not a BRS Government Liason Officer, so unfortunately I have no idea what he/she/they have achieved,(they have certainly achieved absolutely nothing for Aga of Kulaziz victims!)

2) I am not a member of the HBPG and although I know Marian works very hard, I as you say have no idea what she has achieved! but I'm sure she has not been working all these years for nothing!

3) I am really sorry for all your problems, and they do seem dreadful, I like you have paid for a home that I will never own, and never live in, and in the process of trying to fight the corruption, that allowed this to happen, I lost my husband of 40 years through the stress of losing our life savings

Could you be so kind as to tell me "What I am supporting"?

So sorry you cannot get up your road, perhaps you could speak to the farmer?

May I wish you the best of luck
