Dog killed on Karsiyaka - Guzelyali road

On Monday we were on our way to the beach cafe at Guzelyali beach yesterday when we noticed a bitch that had been hanging around the beach bar had been killed by the picnic site just before the cafes. As it looked like she'd had puppies in the not too distant past we asked at the cafe, and if my Turkish is correct, were told there had been two, maybe three to four month old, puppies living across the road from the beach cafe but that they hadn't been seen since the mother was knocked down. We looked around, and today I've searched more extensively, but no joy. I've emailed KAR to see if they've heard anything. I know there are members who live around that area, so wondered if anyone knows anything.

Yes, it was the white with red markings spaniel/pointer type bitch that had been at the cafe for a week or so. The belediye came this morning and took the body away while I was out searching for the puppies. KAR have had no report about them but have promised to let me know if they hear anything.

If you see a black and white pointer name of Jack he is mine, missing since sunday. He had a chain collar and a flea collar on. x

Where have you looked so far? We always saw her walking into the bamboo reeds further down the beach towards the night clubs, and thought her pups were in there.

I didn't go that far down as the girl at the cafe told me the pups had been just across from the cafe. I looked all round the houses opposite the cafes, and then up to the picnic spot where she was knocked down, also the mountain road behind the houses and the main road. Perhaps she had moved the pups up to the cafe as there was food there. However, I'll take a run down to where you say and look.
