Tatlisu Supermarket Metran on the main road .

Metran now stocks all you need re English brands a very good

selection . We had a really nice turkish meal at Metran with lovely

home made chips soooooooooooo cheap . A meal for 3 with drinks 50ytl

Alye's mini market near to the new Mosque stocks very nice english pork

sausage/bacon in the freezer department. If he runs out just ask and

he will re stock for you the folowing day.

Alye also serves hot food/

take away. You can also connect to the internet in the cafe area .

You

can top up your phone and change your money at Alye's, he gives the

same rate as the banks . Order your weekly daily english papers.

All very convenient .

A trip to Famagusta and amazing new road system is just being worked

on . Driving into Famagusta just after the new island on your left is

an impressive building with Golden lions . A Restaurant called big Mac

Big mac is a fast food restauarant on par with Mcdonalds. When buying a meal you can swim for free in a lovely pool surrounded by lovely sunloungers .

Groucho .

Just promoting a few places, is that ok with you ? Big mac is a great fast food place . We had a teenager staying with us and it was great for him to hang out for an hour or so with a few others of his age . The place with the lions next door is a disco so again something for his age group .

I understand if the recommendation does not appeal to you but for some of the younger readers it may be. Any way we all had a great time. Enjoyed the the food and service was really good .

Hi Pandy .

Alye's shop is so accomodating, however outside of the shop does not do it justice.

Wander through the back of the shop and more to see, besides food stuffs you will pick up the odd electrical bargain sunglasses etc . Having said that it is coming to the end of the season so maybe just a few things left .

As I have said if you need anything and you cannot see it on display just ask and they will get things in for you .

Yeah re internet connection just order a drink or a snack and surf away !! Hope this helps .
