Lost objects within the house

My last posting was about a lost rechargable battery charger. We had a day where we had a clear out of drawers and cupboards. The battery charger was there and we said, put it somewhere handy and can find it when required.



Since then it has gone! Checked everywhere.



It also happened to us about 10 years ago when we went to the Canary Islands for Xmas. We had just bought a new car and we had one of those do it all keys. We had a discussion as to where to hide it while on holiday. Guess what, we never found it again.





Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Proabably thousands of times but I cannot remember what, when, where, or how. Will probably turn up as I now have dozens of alike things of which only one is ever needed. The Wildebeest (bless her) says that I would lose my bits as well if they were not kept in a bag !

Funny enough I spent best part of an hour this morning looking for my car key (which I had had yesterday!) Finally gave up & dug out the spare one only to find my key.....still in the ignition from yesterday afternoon! Now that wouldn't happen in England would it!
