Efes, Fosters, Miller 5tl

Blossom Hill red, white and rose 3tl a glass, 15 tl a bottle.

Soft drinks 3tl

Small water 1 tl

Packets of Ruffles crisps 3 tl

Chips 5 tl

Burgers 5 tl

Burger and Chips 8 tl

Doors open 5pm, start 6pm, you can go out and re-enter if you wish.

There are 2 toilet blocks, with plenty of urinals and stalls for men, adequate facilities for the ladies and 2 disabled toilets in each block, this facility was built for 2000 audience participation.

No cool boxes allowed, but if special diet required this can be accepted, please do not flaunt this.

Now just look forward to a fantastic evening, just been down there and the sound/lighting gantry and computer music consul would not look out of place in Wembley, I think Snakes will back us up here.

With those prices it is not worth wanting to take a cool bag.

I think you are missing the point. When you go to one of these events you don't want to be bothered to get up and get your drinks/food, just sit there and enjoy the evening with what you have in your cool bag.

Would like to know exactly why cool bags are not allowed.

Those are reasonable prices, Message 4 you are of course correct, and I see your point 100%

But I beleive the Ampitheatre as been provided at no cost, so it is understanable for the local council to need to make some profit from the food and drinks.

We will still have a great night.

Msg 4: "Would like to know exactly why cool bags are not allowed"

Ask the Beledeyisi - they make the rules. And you "don't want to be bothered to get up" - during a concert that might just last 6 hours - hopefully 7? Not even to stretch your legs - try a walk to the bar - you'll feel better for it!

Magalan, walking to the bar is easy for me, the hard part will be getting back again sometime later without somebody treading on my fingernails

Roxybob;

Girne Belediye are providing the venue free of charge. Their electricity bill alone for the night will run to thousands of TL, not to mention staff wages, cleaning costs, etc. The only way they can recoup any of these costs is through the food and drink stands.

Can anyone tell me the last time they took a coolbag into the NEC or Wembley Arena? Just because the building doesn't have a roof on, it doesn't mean it doesn't have running costs! It's not a farmer's field like Glastonbury!

My choice was to accept the Belediye's terms or cancel the show; would you rather I'd done that?

Ok I accept your point of view. Just thought it would be better to have a decent entry fee (for charity) and then let people choose whether they want to take a cool bag etc. or buy from the bars on site.

Message 9 "decent entry fee" the organisers have pitched their entry fees as a fair and attractive price for whats on offer and any other fee "decent" or other would have caused even more uproar than the "coolbox" saga ! please lets concentrate on having a great time, make lots of money for disabled children, and let them know we care much more about them than a cheap bottle of Efes in a coolbox cheers ! regards Barry

Stop complaining....either go or do something else.

If the coolbox rule grates then go somewhere else.

If you dont like burger and chips go somewhere else.

If you want Carlsberg then find somewhere else.

Simple really.
