Rudeness at the Hut in Lapta

I was Appauled to read that a thread stating that Sue from Hut had been rude to a customer had been totaly disregarded and instead of understanding the thread people decided to turn on that person for being 45 for being too young to be retired and god knows what else !! I sympathise with makvickis as I myself have had the misfortune to be on the end of one of Sue,s tongue bashings and can assure you it was not pleasant.



The food may be good but her attitude to customers requires immediate attention.

Any person who runs a place as busy as the hut will loose their temper at some point with fussy people.

I've been sh#t faced and quite loud in there many times and Sue has never given me a tongue bashing, at least I cannot remember her doing.

P.S. I'm kind of a regular there and I have only seen Sue behave friendly - whether is was busy or not.

P.P.S. You guessed right: I'm not a fan of Internet revenge when businesses are involved.

Congratulations on your first posting and for resurrecting a thread that the moderator closed down 6 days previously as serving no useful purpose. I note that you "sympathise with Macvickis". He was totally out of order in opening a gate that had a closed sign on it and his comments about having to do so for "the safety of his children" are a complete nonsense as there is ample parking space outside the gate. He made a number of slanderous accusations against my wife (which I previously could not respond to because the thread was already closed when I heard about the posting) and you should know that it was actually Mackvickis who was rude to my wife and not the other way round.



Sue does not give anybody a "tongue-bashing" and, if you felt aggrieved for some reason, why did you not speak to Sue at the time, instead of your cowardly approach of posting on this board.

i think everyone has an off day and maybe the person concerned had just had enough, at the end of the day just because you are in business does mean that you have to put up with people that you do not want to have to deal with due to many reasons, I myself have told people to go before today when i had my business in turkey there just not worth it!

Chris and Sue you do not deserve this, i expected someone new to come on tonight as most were at the concert.I have had a go at me on another thread, when its everynight it wears you down. Please try to ignore it as most on here now know who is doing all this. please do not respond. chris and sue, also the lovely girl that works for them, are wonderful. we have known them for several years and can't think why anyone would post anything negative about them but we are entitled to our opinion.

I see from your profile you live in Lapta and really impressed you have put your e-mail address on as well!!



So instead of back stabbing and bitching about Sue on here go and face her and Chris and get whatever this problem you have with them sorted out once and for all.



I personally am in agreement with most of the posters on here that The Hut is one of the most welcoming restaurants / bars on the island and Chris and Sue the perfect hosts.
