Looks like it's going to be a real battle tomorrow within top three.

Vettel has already said that pole means nothing in Singapore.

And even God is in sight (to Rigsby's delight!)

Perfect!

Haven't got a CLUE how this one will tyrn out.. but if Alfonso can get to turn 1 he should win.. ( if his car holds out )

I'm a bit worried about Hamilton v Vettel into turn one - may be Button can pick up the pieces - as long as they aren't carbon fibre pieces ;)

This going to be a good one.I predict Lewis will crash out again and take Vettell with him.It will then start raining heavy and god will come through to WIN.And the Frommie chap might come second.

Mark......that is why i don't think Vettel will be in contention , because he's a nutter !! He will go off i am sure , i just hope he doesn't take Hamilton with him. !! Will pit stops come into it today ? Alonso won it at Monza with the amazing Ferarri pit stop crew , will they do it again today ?

Re : Msg 22,

Rigsby, I'm so happy that you're in money! Congratulation also on your excellent prediction about Playboy!

Lovely afternoon.

As for Eddie's wishful thoughts, God's has given interview to Autosport and said :" You cannot get rid of me."

Looks like Massa's days are numbered with Kubica breathing in his neck - of course, Stefano Domenicali denies the rumours, but then Ferrari are in a habit of denying anything.

And what about all these rumours re: Webber's contract with Red Bull! The plot thickens...

If only one driver finishes in his starting position it's not a parade or procession..

There was enough incident to make sure this Grand Prix was interesting.... Normally I fall asleep, today I watched begin to end.. Shame that Lewis was taken out it was hotting up to a good duel with Webber who was very lucky his car was not damaged.

Webber should have ceded position to Hamilton who had quite clearly got more than half a car in front at the corner and could no longer see Webber by his side... Put down to a genuine accidental racing incident that all drivers have to put up with but it does seem a bit hard that Hamilton went out and Webber was able to continue.

A bit like Vettel's prang.... when he put Button out and dived into the pits. These Red Bull drivers are leading a charmed life...

Well, well, the Mclarens are much further off the pace than they had hoped for and WHY they stayed out SO long on the softs - whilst losing 2-3 seconds to Webber on Hards ( hoping for a safety car, may be ? ) is beyond me..

I'm glad that Hamilton tries such moves.. it makes GREAT TV .. and today he so NEARLY pulled it off.. Webber WAS lucky to not sustain damage.. but the guy deserves some luck..

Sorry Clarissa, but was sad to see 'Alfonso' hold on to the lead - I lost my respect for him after his despicable behaviour to McLaren and I'm SURE he knew about 'crash-gate' ..

Now, I REALLY hope that Webber wins - let's have another 'nice guy' as Champion

Re : Msg 27,

mx6, why then haven't you lost respect for Hamilton and McLaren - they were caught cheating and lying!

The question is rhetorical by the way...

P.S.Alonso is the best driver by far from the whole lot.

Hi Clarissa

re 28

>>Alonso is the best driver by far from the whole lot.<<

You may even be right - he was voted as such by his peers, but still I don't like/ respect him..

Hamilton ? He came forward and put his hands up ... THAT's the difference.. Alfonso 'blabbed' on McLaren but stayed 'schtum' re 'crash-gate' ..

Webber will make a worthy ambassador for the sport in the same way Jenson has been.

Do you think the Korean GP will go ahead?

If not the season gets shorter and Webber looks odds on...

Mark,Regarding Alonso at Mcpooh,He was worid champion and why would he want any less treatment than new boy Lewis? I am glad he dobbed Mcpooh in.I hope the race at Korea goes ahead if only to increase my winnings,I am already £3 up.

Hi Rigsby

I'm glad you are 'fleecing' the lad.. I hope he can continue to afford to live ;)

The fact was that Lewis was just as quick - if not quicker - and Alfonso couldn't take that.. he THOUGHT he was coming into team that would back him as the natural no.1

Ferrari have demonstrated many times that they are no 'saints' but seem to get treated less severely ..

Re : Msg 33,

mx6, Alonso WAS no.1 as TWICE World Champion and brought with him zillions of money to McLaren, so the Little Boy could enjoy the benefits of huge improvements to the car.

But the 'Lttlle boy' - in his maiden F1 season - drove the wheels of the 'spoiled brat' taking six polls to two and beating Alfonso in the driver's championship - they Missed out (by one point) on out right victory ! ;)

Going into the last race Hamilton was leading with 107 points followed by Fernando Alonso on 103 points and Kimi Räikkönen on 100 points. Hamilton had started 2nd but dropped to the back of the pack after a gearbox problem.I STILL wonder what happened about that - as it 'went away' - 'The little boy' recovered from last to seventh - and JUST missed out on winning in his first season .. He was 'robbed'

He was robbed at the start by a manoeuvre deliberately aimed at blocking his path to the front... by a disgruntled team mate... allowing his nearest rival to progress....now who could that have been?
