North Sea - Another Well online in the last week, platform production 4million per day.

Safety record is awesome albeit the crews are fatigued.

Caspian Sea (Turkey) interests us ? and North Cyprus.

Sorry CyprusChill

but I don't understand your post..

What has the Caspian Sea got to do with Turkey or North Cyprus - other than a pipe-line crossing TR ?

The Oil / gas that might be present in the Eastern Med is one of the main reasons TR REALLY wants to retain an 'interest' in Cyprus ..

Turkey is very much involved and not just for the passage of the pipeline.

Interesting article Damian

If I was still in the industry then that would have been a good contract and project to work on for me.

if there is oil etc around the west side - libya/tunisia - ofcourse there is stuff here. Who does it belong to??????????#

As per rowlo above - no body wants without a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been obvious for years - Now it is slowly donning

Andrew, there is no oil in the Kurdish lands. The oil is in the Turkic lands of Northern Iraq Kirkuk area. However our Turkish cousins in that region have not helped Turkey take them. The Black sea is another matter. Have my GC cousins in the south of the border been informed. They must have some claim there too, they have it everywhere else. It seems to me Istanbul is not that far away and they do have a claim on that, do they not?

Come on Billy boy you is slippin, where is the facebook war you are so good at?

The pace of energy runs with the tide.

A full solstice of industrial bear roots has passed us by for nearly 30 Years.

Apprentices (Sons and Daughters).

Occasional im alright Jacks, soon unveiled; individuals perhaps but when the heat is on.

Very stark reality and perhaps a lengthy healing.

Awareness and nurture to all incumbent processes.

Working ability in all extremes with many credes and cultures.

The basics, communication and two way shared learning.

Objectivity. Money as a first instance, perhaps local and global consideration.

From a distance the Management and Team are establishing themselves as being a forthright example of the sustainable future for North Cyprus. Recent upgrades have been noted as having sustained duration to service. Praise for improvement, where it is due.

I am just a minnow in the bowl. Still enjoying the breath i take.
