When to harvest olive trees

Please can any one help me. We have 6 olive trees some black some green looks like 2 different varieties.

When is the time to pick them and where is the best place to take them to be pressed?

governmant usually declare the day to start ...............think this year it was the 27th...........its in the paper on Cyprus today web site it will usually tell you....We reckon with ours around 16th Ocotber.....depends when the pressing factory is open too......We are in Karsiyaka. Happy picking. If its any help a large baby bath full last year yeilded us 11 litres if the stuff, and the previous year we got 9 litres.......Sue
