| we have been thinking along the same lines. if electricity get anymore expensive it would be cost effective to run the whole house on a generator. also if car tax gets any more expensive we will trade in the 4x4's and start driving donkeys. no more speeding fines, no more parking tickets and good for the garden! |

| Electric problems are minimal now buying a generator really is a waste of money unless you do not have electric. We have had at most one power cut all year where a gennie may have been useful if we had one!!!!!! Check other threads on this oand other BB's. |

| we are asking because at the moment we are on this expensive builders electricity and are being threatened of getting cut off if others on site cant or wont contribute |
