Am I right in thinking that's per married couple? ie if you are married you cannot buy a plot each?

You couldn't make this up.

Then I would suggest buy a plot each and then get married, convert to Islam and take 18 wives with 5 donums each and wallah you have beaten the system.

How about if you already own a property on a Donum or less - can you buy more land, up to 5 Donums?

Even though you can now buy 5 donums, has anyone actually received their PTP for this?

Newfie

The law was changed about a year ago to allow foreigners to purchase upto 5 donums with conditions

I do not know the law number but others with legal knowledge should be able to point you in the right direction. It has been confirmed to me by an advocate that the law is/was current in July of 2010

Dear "Henry Charles",

Thank you for that advice. It is most helpful. We will be in touch with yourselves by email. Perhaps you could assist us with the sale of our 2.25 donums of pre'74 English Title Land?

Ismet,

what if a woman buys 5 donums and marries a Brit who is a Muslim, and then what if this Muslim Brit marries another woman with another 5 donums, and so on. Eventually when you get to 20 wives, you will then accumulate 100 donums.

Now If any of you lovely ladies out there are unattached and are looking for a handsome TC to marry and buy lots of land, well I know a very nice man who is available for such activities so long as the marriage part of it is taken up with equal seriousness. He also has lots of land in the south which can be developed with even greater profit.

Any Takers?

Good question Fred but I did not understand it. Are you going to live in Saudi Arabia with those 20 wives?
