I was so very wrong in my assumption some time ago that pugwash was a member of the multiple id clan that kept having a go at me. I now know that this id unfounded. I'm not clever enough to find the post , but i want to say now i know that she was not part of that group. I now know who they are. I apologise whole heartily and i hope you will accept it. I have tried various methods to keep it off board but no response. So Pugwash I'm so very sorry x

tigs i could but it would mean a lot more aggro for me. thanks to mods and friends i now know who they are. The sad thing is they were so nice to my face. Technology is a wonderful thing. I am a terrier being Irish we do not let things go when we are being wronged. Had enough of that. All I can say and will tell you all when I see you, is that I am so disappointed in one member who is still so nice to me. well love they can try to ruin me but we have decided to go anyway. Not because of them its because i cant live with them. We had a five year plan and cant see it getting better, more jobs on offer and one accepted. So we now live with the backlash of that news. mike i give up on getting them anywhere, i will never leave them so whatever happens, if guiod accepts , we look at all angles. dont forget i still have tess to find a home for, but i swear to god she is the last, oh and the little kitten paddi. no more i will put them on the main road myself. thank you mike, its still early days. Dogs have to have all injections etc. it will be early next year so you have got me for some time, lots to be worked out. You know tonight full house and Chris came in to collect crutches, others friends came in with their probs and said this is where we relax and feel safe, lots to think about but it is a great offer, there is so much to consider. We are not just a restaurant but a community centre for lots. I have bags of books for the donkey centre, clothes for children in need. I get food and items for ismail's family, and lots more. As well as the monthly dinner for cheshire homes. I do not want to be accused as i am so often as being a saint but these things are so important to us to be a part of the community. We don't get out as we work and this is our way to give back

So, I "apologize" for any offense about asking what is an apology, I personally find the whole concept meaningless. So, how did this nasty little attribution of guilt and personal acknowledgement by another party become so important to us? We all know its all just words, begrudgently given. Maybe those who receive apologies deserve them.

the only reason why we may contemplating of leaving is because I been offered couple of jobs. they offer me a serious amount of money, and to be frank i will never earn that kind of money here . we are not looking for compassion, sorry or publicity to fill the restaurant, as i said before my food speak lauder then any advert. yes we have lots of people that loves us but, at the end of the day i work for money and here the mentality of people is: i want good food cooked by a good chef for nothing . We don't do karaoke or quiz night, we don't give free food or drink and frankly you must be an idiot if you do so just to pull people in your place. Places that give you a beer for less then what it cost must have a masochist mind or an hidden agenda. nobody give something for nothing in this world. i like British but i do not understand them, how can they always look for the cheapest place to eat without caring if the food is good or frozen crap?. continue

I been here now for six years and i am fed up of excuses and promises that is going to be better. In this part of the island the amount of people that have an understanding of fresh and good food are a minority. the mass want a buffet and have the chance of filling a carrier bag, how low can you get? when they will understand that food is a pleasure more than a survival necessity? never. i can only say that we tried our best to teach people what goof food is. i don't know yet if or when we 'll move on but is nothing immediate anyway. the jobs offer are there for me to consider.

Guido and Lilli - as you know, Gwyn and I live on the other side of Girne and from where we live, it is a bit of a treck. Anyway, two week's ago we made it up to your place with another couple.



Can I just say this: what a lovely, no beautiful meal and fantastic atmosphere. We polished off 3 maybe even four bottles of your finest red - the night was over in a flash. Lilli, I have already thanked you for your hospitality and I need say no more! Just fantastic.



It's just a shame that you're not closer to us because when we go out - we follow AJ's advice every time. Order, eat and drink what we want regardless of cost. We work and 'play' hard. What you need is more customers with the same outlook but unfortunately, I don't think that there are enough of them in NC.

I do understand what you are going through and I do hope that you get over this 'bump-in-the-road'. Running a business here is 'difficult' - the overheads (compared to the UK) are much higher and the odds are stacked against making a success of anything.



Guido and Lilli, you are both a credit to your profession and in my opinion, have got things 'just right' in your restaurant. Anywhere else in the world and you would be making a fortune!



Problem is, like us, you fell in love with Northern Cyprus and decided to live and work here - the 'island of broken dreams'

I will be delighted when the place takes off and we have free trade, that way the TRNC will get some proper ppl not the council house trash that mostly frequent the island at the moment.



Guido is Italian so a little of the typed word is lost in translation, you have no excuse for being downright rude however.
