How many times have we phoned about the appalling service and each time we are lied to it will be done by weds , next week it will be done by Tuesday ,next week it will be done by the following Monday is he telling us all the same crap ?????????????

I suspect many of us are in the same boat,when renewal time comes we will be voting with our feet.

It would not be as bad if at least they admitted the service is not what it was and offered a much reduced

yearly subscription. At least that way would not have to pay out a large sum of money to replace the dishes sat box etc,for systems that will possibly have the same problems.

Can you believe they are still taking on new customers also! even though the system doesn't work. My husband posed as a new customer (we are existing customers) and they was quite happy to sell him that crap system and had the cheek to slag off all the other providers!!

Having said this (pirate system), it would be true to say that Dopi is not alone in providing (pirate) systems.

I think I'm right in saying that the only legal service, which provides some UK. TV content (minimal) is Digiturk?

There are many other one man bands also advertising dodgy TV.

I was caught by the same scam in Mid. 2002, although I didn't get charged the rip off price that Dopi charge & no ongoing annual charge either.

By Mid. 2004, all the channels had packed up.

It seems strange that after lot of complaints on here about dopi,OSN has returned over the weekend, first time for months.Perhaps a lot of subscriptions are coming up for renewal, and they are trying so say the system is getting better so please pay. Not a chance.

Well, we ditched them and they wanted us to return the box to their office ....... no chance they had to come and get it.



They will always say the system will be better but it continues to prove it isn't but people still keep forking out their money.

It seems that whilst we paid out £500 plus for installation of a box and 3 dishes, they maintain that the box is still theirs and only the dishes we could keep.

Why on earth is anyone still buying DOPI, Its a well known fact on this forum and in the TRNC that its a pile of sh*te, I know this and I havent owned a TV for over 8 years !!!!!!
