£61 a night each all inclusive at Christmas a bit steep? Thats a bargain compared to the UK. Some hotels in the Lake District charge £600 for 3 nights per person just for accomodation and food over Christmas.

maybe so, I still think £61 per person per night all inclusive over Christmas is a very good price in my opinion.

Or £109.50 for 2 per night for 4 nights! What do you guys want, something for nothing. All entertainment, all drinks, all meals and all the facilities at the hotel. Sounds good value to me.Just see how much the Cratos wants for B & B.for the same period.

slightly of topic, who sells turkeys at Christmas? Do the supermarkets stock them or would I have to go to somewhere like the Pork Shop?

Problem with Merit is too many people in the past and staff can't cope. Have heard some very bad reports about their previous christmas offerings. Each to their own

Hearsay Krypton cannot always be relied upon.Conversely,I have never been to Merit but friends have been for the past 3 years and raved about the time they had.So who do you believe?I prefer to listen to positive views. No matter how good or bad a place is somebody is bound to come up with an opposite view.
