Confessions time.



I adored the series the Persuaders .. the theme music was the 2nd 7" 45 rpm single I bought ... ( first was 'Horse with no name' by America ! )



I was 11 and Tony Curtis wore long zip up boots..



At the 1st form party I borrowed my Mum's ( sssshh) and suddenly found girls thought I was 'trendy' and 'interesting' [ I was the only lad still going to school in shorts in my year :( ] ....

I used to spend at least a third of my £2 and 5 Shillings weekly wage on a Friday lunchtime in a barbers shop for a "Tony Curtis" haircut believing that a weekend fighting off tottie would follow. Only worked on my Wildebeest (bless her). Saddened that he has gone but he certainly had a full life.
