Hi All,

Just got back from a brilliant two weeks in Northern Cyprus,after staying in our apartment in Esentepe.The highligt of the holiday has to be our visit to the Karpaz.After saying every year since 2005 that we were going to vist the Karpaz,we finally managed it.The views are breathtaking,and i would advise anyone who hasnt visited to do so.Dont try and do it all in one day though or you wont have time.



We also had some lovely meals out there as well,and i feel that,Jashan,Court Yard and Joya Bar deserve a special mention.Sultans also delivered superb fayre as well.But the best steak has to be the Magic Bar on the Carringtons site,great little spot that.And so close to home.



Lara Beach also came up trumps,and on a windy day,as we had the sea was brilliant 5tl for sun beds is a fair price in my book,and the food was reasonable as well.We also caught up with a few people from the forum,which was nice and really had a great time,

Hi newlad, we love it too in NC, the wonderful views, driving for miles and not meeting a car, the sunshine, the every thing........ even 3mths now isnt enough for me ....

hi paul glad you had a brill time and finally got to the karpaz . which route did you take ? im told the new road that goes past our site sweetwaterbay is finished and goes straight to the karpaz , we did it while this road was under construction but thats a tale for when we have a efes in north cyprus.

Lovely to finally meet you Paul and your lovely wife. I just sit here and marvel at the beautiful sunsets from my front door step and you were so right about the whole area this side.

Glad you enjoyed it Paul - I'm out tomorrow for a week's R & R but don't think I've time to do the Karpaz again this time around. I agree with you about the place and we should enjoy it while we can before the developers move in en masse.
