Lots of people have an opinion about KAR,many have posted negative posts, but despite pleas for help in the charity shop, not one of the hundreds that have viewed the post have offered help.

So untill you can offer some positive help, please keep your opinions to yourselves.

Lots of people claim to love animals, very few seem to want to do anything about them

About thirty people are committed to helping the charity, out of an ex pat community of ???????

MY WIFE HAS SPENT ABOUT 30 HOURS THIS WEEK ALONE MANNING THE CHARITY SHOP

so i think it is about time to put up or shut up

Stuart

ps i have no active link to this charity

Stuart,

I thin k you are being very unfair a lot of the people on here are retired and many are not fit for work even a few hours in a shop.

Also you will find many of us have animals that we did not intend having! I have a dog now for the first time in my life and no I was not an animal lover but as a lot of people these animals were forced on us. So stop being judgemental about people you don't know!

I myself have been working in excess of 30 hours this week for absolutely no payment but like your wife that is MY choice.

we have our little (well not so little now) Efes, German Shephard puppy. He's getting to be a bit of boisterous and strong now. He just turned up on our door step and wanted to stay so we took him in. He's a very loving affectionate dog, not always obedient but can be. We wouldn't get rid of him now, he's part of the family.

If I wanted to work in the KAR charity shop he wound insist on coming with me but he hates strangers. All the tradesmen who come to the house are scared sh*tless of him. Good guard dog.

Chris,

Go out on a friday /saturday night any venue will do,how many people are up dancing the night away,

but on a more serious note the cancer charity shop also posted asking for volunteers, not one single offer of help was made.

I really do think that the attitude in general is,i`m alright jack.

Yes people do donate in as much, they will pay for a night out in support of a charity, but with many that`s as far as it goes
