Hello people,

Yes i know I've been absent for months but I'm not lucky enough to have a 9-5 job so I have to go to places most people wouldn't consider. You can look at my recent trip to Sierra Leone on the same web site that I've added a page about being ripped off in Cyprus I've just bought a shirt with a slot in the back so the mug handle can stick out.

http://www.johnpattison.co.uk/index.php?id=28

No communication with Alpan uz or Mark Unwin in years but I do get updates Mustafa Baykan the partner in Uz Bay Investments. Mustafa would really like to make contact with all buyers with information but he has only a few names from the list of 21 that bought on the same development that I did.

it would be wrong to post his personal e-mail address here but if you are one of those people please contact me and I'll pass your details to Mustafa Baykan so he can contact you directly.

re Mes 1 Scotty

Esentepe.

Bought in 2005 and still waiting for Alapn Uz and his prtner Mustafa Baykan to sort out their difference.

One of the most annoyng things has been the total lack or interest, support or response from Mark Unwin's business Unwin Estates and Munir Akil the lawyer recommednde by Umwin Estates.

Alpan showed his true colours by moving his assets into his mother name in case he had to pay back and Mustafa has his own reasons for taking Alpan to court (none payment of his share) and 21 buyers have been left out of pocket by anything from £20k - £60k each. Mark Unwn asked some of them for second dtage payments before the villas wwere at the second stage so he face fraud acusations by some buyers

By the way does anyone have another means of contcating HBPG because both e-mail addresses on the net bounce back as does filling in the page on their web site

John, can you find out from another Solicitor (not Manure....Sorry Manur Akil) if there is a Mortgage (charge) on the land?

You may well be fighting for nothing, sorry to be so cynical.

John you are fighting for what is yours, thats the bottom line.

If you have your paper work, relating to the bank transfers , paid into into lying estate agents account, thats good.

We are dealing with finnacial terrorism, the are not concerned with your family status or feelings.

There are a group of agencies, in UK , US & Turkey, who want to establish whe money has gone.

This lot don't give a shit about anything but money, which makes them venerable to other groups.

Oh dear Julie, we're back to this are we?, you signed a legally binding contract, then decided that you couldn't afford it (DUH!!!),Unwins refunded their part (which they didnt have to), the builder decided to hold you to your contractual obligation, hence you lost £7k.

Quite simply You screwed up(and were very lucky that Unwins took pity on you), Now any attack on Unwins, you chuck in your two penneth worth.GET A LIFE!

Thanks for the feed back everyone, I've made no secret that if we can't get justice legally I'll get it another way, it's just when is the right time to call in "alternative justice". I'm told October will end the legal process but that doesn't neccessary mean we buyers get our villas or money back.

Today alone 109 people have read the piece on my web site and the same piece is being posted throughout Europe and USA so Alpan Uz and Mark Unwin are just about finished in the property business.

The bit I really cannot understand is why the xxxx is Unwin Estates still adervertised on this site? Have some respect for the people he's ripped off.

Message 16,

Good luck with your crusade, but to post intention on a public forum by way of "Alternative justice" could be a big mistake, silent intent and a rock solid alibi is best.

My question is if Unwins are the biggest crooks in the TRNC???

Why are they still making money and in business??? their just estate agents not the Mafia..............

Blackpoolfan, (mess 18)

that's your opinion "their just estate agents not the Mafia" !!! (your words)

To many victims they were the "The front men for the Mafia" you tell me "why they are still making money"? and being allowed to trade?

Perhaps you should try and understand how the TRNC Government works? corruption uncontrolled?

is OK

I know how the government works thanks, they are clueless clowns.

Then that means you are saying that all officials, police, advocates are all corrupt????

If what has been done is illegal is their no path through the court albeit a slow process or are they all corrupt as well????

Estate agents are just a shop window, they put buyer and sell together, then their job is done.

Why blame them ?

We purchased through Unwins and we had excellent service. We had no problems with them at all and would use them again.

Saturday is always a busy day looking after an 81 yr old Parkisons sufferer so I'll respond to all this on Sunday.

If this a was a 50s movie I think we'd have a lynching party after the Unwin people - alas - we have to abide.

It's too easy to hide behind idle threats on a forum like this. if people have a problem they should deal with it rather than continually subject the rest to a stream of unsubstantiated rumour and innuendo.

Re message 35 your use of the word probably says it all. No proof no facts just jumping on a bandwagon.
