250 Turkish Cypriots living in Britain want the right to vote in the TRNC. Why does this government refuse to even contact them officially? Do these people, and thousands of others around the world, have no right to a say in any solution?

Maybe because they have no right to vote in a country they don't live in?

As per the GCs I guess - various political parties were paying for flights back for the elections in Feb.

Guess neither set of politicians want those Cypriots outside, i.e. not subject to the same amount of spin/propaganda, to have a say in the running of their joint homeland - but you will have to do military service if you are a young man of Cypriot extraction - otherwise moderate voices may be heard and a solution may be possible.

God forbid they will then have to deal with the water problems, poor government, over staffed civil service etc and not be able to put the blame on the CypProb!

We live in hope!
