I read that a absolute brilliant night was had with Mr Rodeo at the place that used to be Moon Over The Water last week sometime. Tonight at Zeytinlik we met a couple of people who got talking to us and the conversation got around to where do you live etc. they said Famagusta. I said oh we have been to moon Over the water a couple of times. they said we went the other night to see Mr Rodeo with the new Patrons. And it was awful. The food was awful. They were rude to them. not many people there. And who was there started to leave. Why do people exaggerate about how good it is somewhere when this is a very small Island and things get back. Just thought i had to ask this.

I guess it it is the old old story of 'One man's meat is another man's poison'. Many people enjoy things which I hate, and I would not invite them to share my passions because I know it is not their proverbial cup of tea. So, I reckon that is why people exaggerate - they are not reeally doing that, just seeing it from their ownpoint of view. But thanks V alarius for pointing out what so often occurs here - (and by the way who is Mr Rodeo!)

It's a good job we are all different otherwise the world would be a boring place. My husbands favourite saying to people is: I''ve told you a million times not to exagerate! Very few ever get it when he says it to their faces.

My wilderbeest's (bless her) excuse for repeatedly damaging our car by hitting the pillars to the garage doors was always "well it is your fault as for years you have been telling me that something was 9 inches when it is only 4 inches"
