| Anyone experienced a message from AVG free that says 'update needs restart', and complains that my AV database is out-of-date? It is not, and I have restarted my machine twice, but still getting the same message. |

| AVG is rubbish these days it eats up the memory I use microsoft security essentials these days free and you hardly notice it. You just have to have a legal operating system for it to work |

| cloud panda, had for a year now on every computer I have with no problem. when it was first recommended to me it was rated top of all the available free virus protection, not sure if it still is. You do need to register but it is still free. http://www.cloudantivirus.com/en/ check it out, if you don't like then it is only a small amount of your time but I would advise it to everyone and I get free norton if I want it through my company. | I also use Microsoft Security Essentials - it's free and it does not take up too much or your processing power. I used to use McAfee which really slowed everything down. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ |
