Hi all I would like to go to the south on the 25th aug for a bit of shopping but am not sure if it is a bank/public holiday does anyone know for sure, thanks

The reason myself and many others do not post on this forum is because of the sarcastic answers as you see that are given to many questions that people post. To add my 2penniesworth. I think you'll find Newlad wasn't being sarcastic he was quoting the words to the song "MaggieMay". Ok it didn't come over to everyone in the way he meant it. That's the problem with e-mail type of postings because it can be read in many different ways.
