There is a big natural tunnel ( name: pigeon tunnel) at the trekking path and you can walk in it from one ravine to another.

Kath & Pippie

Association of Mountaineering organizing walking tours every Sunday at different paths around NC. Usually they come to Kucukerenkoy twice a year one in autumn and one in spring time.

may be we can arrange our own event here together at the dates you mentioned. But at 8 - 11 Nov there will be tourism fair in London and may be I'll represent our Karpaz Eco Tourism Union there, not certain yet.

Chico,

At 16th Oct, they will start walking at Cinarli village on the east of Kucukerenkoy - Gecitkale way, southern slopes of mountains

Japael

I've asked about dogs and the leader said that some people may afraid of dogs so you have to tie them or come from back of the group. If the dogs are friendly may be there will be no problem.

Their program shows that they will be coming to Tatlisu at 23rd Oct, so if anyone interested about guided walking tours these events may suit them.

we can also arrange private walking tour plus rich village breakfast @ SINYA for your g

Yudu-Yusef? Pipie

Why dont we try to arrange something for New Year - private would be fine I am sure we would be able to get a few people together via friends and the forums. 2-3 Jan walk off the New year excess!

Karpas Eco tourism rep - sounds interesting!

Good walk on Sunday, thanks.

Lot of people, must have been over 50. Mainly locals who were very friendly and helpful.

Walk up the mountains and back, bit scary in places, but great views at top. Hope to be there next week and will check web site (cyprus-trekking.com ) next time we are in TRNC.

Sorry we missed this event, sounds like real fun, seeing parts of the TRNC most people never see.

We ran in the Nicosia Marathon event in the South yesterday.

Not a full marathon but a half.

Terry
