The strikes have been scheduled for 0900-1900 on October 15 and a 24-hour strike on October 22 beginning 0900 until 0900 the next day.

Hope this helps

Just found out that the planned strike next weekend (either 22 or 24th October) has been called off at both Larnaca and Paphos.

We are coming on Sunday. I saw 2 postings saying a 24 hour strike and that the airport would be closed ! - one said 22nd, the other 24th.

So I phoned Larnaca airport directly to check. The guy told me specifically ' The planned strike has been called off - the airport will operate fully next weekend'

re Brinsley msg 14, if the time it took our bags to come out on the caroussel a few months ago I would agree that they don't work, or were having a siesta (or whatever the GC equivalent is)

Dear Mr Short,

Thank you for your email.

Please note that further to recent developments we do not expect that Air Traffic Controllers will be taking any strike measures.

The originator of this thread posts so she has something to react to later. Something to do. I don’t think she intentionally tries to wind folk up. Maybe a natural trait. Who knows but it doesn’t do for making friends as, par for the course, she avoids answers to direct questions.

There was never going to be a strike, or at least I have tried to find evidence but no luck.
