I am currently looking to purchase a resale villa in Ozankoy. does anyone have an idea of what percentage discount I should ask for off the asking price. In the UK it is about 10%. In the current climate does this sound ok in NC?

It's a buyers market so forget any notion of a percentage discount and make a silly offer, you never know you might be lucky and if not the seller will come back to you with their silly demands. sale price will be somewhere between the 2

The correct price for a house is the figure that someone is prepared to pay for it

That depends on how much I would be prepared to let the property go for ...and the circumstances at the time. No one can say. But if I were buying at the moment, I would put a low bid in to see the response .... that makes good business sense?

Selling is a different matter altogether, but if I was desperate to get rid, then any offer would be considered, if I wasn't so desperate then only prices reflecting the current market would apply!

I think Mr Vincent' comments reflects this ......

The onfo given is quite helpful, but relatively obvious. Does anyone have any actual figure that they are willing to give? For example -I bought my vill arecently and knocked the price down by 15%.
