Yes Paul, tuesday is indeed d day for Liverpool FC. But even if they do go into administration, Hicks and Gilletts days are numbered. If they win the court case, they will have 3 days to come up with £276 million pounds to pay off RBS or face a further £60million pounds in late payment fines.

If Broughton is correct when he says he acted according to the contract, which was signed by both Hicks and Gillett then the outcome of the case appears safe. Especially as the Premier Lge have already accepted the buy out plans.

I think you lot down at the Theatre of Screams should be twitching now as you could be next!!!!!

' The Stars Will Always Remain on the Shirt '

Working Class - Football Teams and society as a whole are taking the hammer ....

The glory day's were when ' all teams ' were rich .... but not now.

Check out the like's of Arsenal who have a squad of 40 plus under 21's ( not many British ).

What chance has my lad got being a youth player with Lincoln City ?

Even though i would love him to be the next Steven Gerrard.

Man Utd - Year end losses of 83.64 million and overall debt of 521.7 million £.

Football is soured by money men.

Liverpool's hopes are pinned on and injury prone Torres and a side kick called Ngog.

Inflated wages have destroyed a natuaral progression of British and Irish players that are available and would sustain the passion and results from the past.

Paul

Manchester United fail to heed lessons of Liverpool's sorry decline.

They are English football's most decorated clubs but events this week suggest their futures are far from secure .

Face facts mate ! it seems your in the same boat .

Glazers are draining Man U just like them two at liverpool . all the money they take out of these clubs is to finance there other business failings when it should have been for reinvestment.

16.5 percent interest on 225 million pounds of manure errrrr. plus the other 550 million pounds of debt

the glazers loaded onto a once profitable club .

Deep do do im afraid .

Clayton could it be there the best marketing club in the world . Maybe so , But you are still losing Money ! and incurring more and more Debts . You dont give a s...... but I do ! I am concerned for not just one club but all the football clubs which are suffering and drowning under mountains of debts . Lets see what you say in twelve months time.

louloui,i will say exactly the same, cant do anything about it,so why let it bother you.do you think the money men at the club or the players who are playing for the team now,not players who have played in the past give a s,,,.its all money lad to them.how the next million is going to be made.that includes rooney and i support utd.

its so obvious why hicks wants to hang on the same way the glazers have turned down a billion quid for man utd . a euro elite super league is on its way with the top clubs being given the freedom to negotiate their own TV deal , i dont think anything can stop this now . chelsea , man utd , man city, arsenal and liverpool all in debt ( city just reported £120 million loss ) , but all these debts could be washed away if the above happens . money is the route of all evils as they say.

verdict expected at 10.30 tomorrow morning. According to lawyers interviewed on Sky news it could go either way. But the good news is that Hicks and Gillett will be the losers whichever way it goes!!!!!

verdict has just been anounced and the judge has found in favour of the Liverpool board, so Mr's Hicks and Gillett are out, if they will appeal or not is still not clear, but it seems that Liverpool are now out of debt and can look forward to better times ahead. It is surely just a matter of time before Man u are also forced into paying off their astonomical debts if they are not to avoid being placed into administration.
