Please can anyone advise us, we have been thinking of taking our car to Cyprus when we move in October. It is an old BMW 5 Series which we have had for a good ten years although it is older than that, but its in perfect nick and drives really well. Appreciate any advice on the matter.

Hi

I am sure one of the veterans of the site will give you more details.

However my understanding is that you can not bring a car into TRNC permantely if it is older than 3 years old, unless it is a classic car.



You may find out more on the site below its has a bit about rules on importing cars to northern cyprus.

I think we will be reconsidering taking the car. Luckily I enjoy walking!!
