Has anybody seen the DVD called The Secret. It tells you how to live your life happily, by just using thoughts. Changing your very own universe, simply just by believing.



I am forever the skeptic but i did find this documentary, rather inspiring, and would like to know if anyone else has seen this, and/or applied the techniques discussed.

It's an interesting DVD. It has made the producer a multi millionaire over night.



My best mate is obsessed with the process, and has been on numerous courses run by two of the contributors. My mate is making a fortune financially and credits the "secret" for his success. Personally, I just think he has developed a successful strategy for his success, however he wont accept my view.



In order to accept the DVD's premise, you have to believe that our minds can manipulate atoms. The journalist Lynn Taggart has researched if this is indeed possible. She believes it is and she has documented her evidence in her book 'The Field'. The quantum physicist Amit Goswami believes that we can manipulate matter with our minds, however most other reputed quantum physicists are highly sceptical.



My conclusion is that the secret is a cult and dangerously neglects our shadow side. One of the 'Secrets' contributors recently ran an endurance programme and two of his delegates died.

msg 3...very interesting thoughts on this. It also seems very 'cult-like' to me also, however, it also seems to work for a lot of people...i ran all the names of the contributors of the programme on face book...and was amazed to see literally 100's of thousands of people swear by it.....so much so, that as of this morning, i started to implement the techniques....already i have 3 jobs lined up in 2 hours.....luck? Or something a little more? I don't know, but it's worth a go surely....



I think the comparison of energy and God was extremely interesting...both of which, can be, arguably, one of the same....both have always been here, both can not be destroyed.....

Hello everyone,

I'm just wondering if anyone has downloaded The Secret to their PC and would be willing to share it? I've been planning to call in the DVD shops for the last couple of weeks and keep forgetting. I'd like to watch one of these few nights when I've actually got time to sit down and watch it.

Watched " The Secret " , and am not convinced !! In my opinion it is all based on the typical American hype !! YOU CAN DO THIS !!! YOU WILL DO THIS !!.

All the people interviewed are professional people, who have had a big " cut" in the takings for this video. They talk a good show , but you make your own mind up whether it is " Hype " or not !

A lot of the scenes in the video are obviously staged managed and , to be honest, not very well done .

I think if you are a determined person you will succeed anyway.Maybe it will help a few borderline cases, but for me it's a load of tosh !!......just my opinion ....of course !! Watch it and see what you think ...
