If you go to Kibtek to get your electric meter changed over from the builder's name to your own name as you have to do in order to get your deeds, is it true that you lose any credit that you have on your bill?

I have a friend here who needs to do this and she put 300tl credit on her bill during her last visit to make sure it was covered if she couldn't come back, and now someone has told her she will lose it all if she does the name change now.

Anyone know anything about this? Thanks

Its possible as the bill was not in her name the credit technically belongs to the person whose name is on the bill.

Hi gates, they are at Squirrel apartments in Lapta. If anyone has any definite info on this would appreciate it. Think I'll contact Kibtek directly and let you know.

Wait until you have used your credit up it can take years to get your deeds so dont panic.
