Hi Moxie

Thanks for your interest. To only change the element is not a vast amount of difference in price to our offer posted above. I would recommend taking advantage of this offer as quite often the pressure release valve after the summer becomes jammed/corroded and this then causes your tank to rupture costing far more in the end. If you would however like a price, please give me a call on 0542 886 2332.

Thanks

Steve

Our company can offer the same service but cannot match the price offered by JJ Landscapes - it is a great deal. We have read nothing but good things about the company on this site. Good luck Steve.

It may well be a 'loss leader' but if it gets them other work then what is the problem?

Just to clarify, I have just had them here to to do ours. great job and they showed me the pressure relief valve which was jammed solid. I am very happy with what has been done and the price of course.

I would recommend them if you do not want to do the job yourself.

FAQ's.... (frequently asked questions)

-Yes, we can take bookings up until the end of the year.

-Yes, you will be getting a new element and new pressure release valve included in the price.

-Yes, you will see an improvement in your water temperature, especially if your element has not been changed for a year or more.

-Yes, we will need to drain your hot water tank, however where possible we will drain it off so that it does not run all down the walls of the house.

-yes we can do tanks that are in roof spaces, provided there is sufficient access.

-Yes we bring all our own equipment including ladders to get on the roof.

-This service is highly recommended preventative maintenance, don't wait until your tank has blown, this will cost upwards of a few hundred TL .

...and finally, yes, this is a limited time offer...

Thanks for all the custom so far...

Steve

Another clarification for you...

This is essential maintenance on your hot water storage tank which gives you hot water during the summer using the panels on the roof and in the winter using the immersion switch in the house. This is not a central heating service or combi-boiler service. Sorry for any confusion...

If anyone is unsure please do not hesitate to ask

Steve

Hope you don't mind the hijack but Sure Home Services can offer full pre-winter central heating/boiler check up on offer at the moment for 50tl - parts/repairs extra if required. Contact info@surecyprus.com for further information or call 0533 855 5658 for an appointment.

Good evening Jessy Please do not read this message as argumentative...

We are not just changing the element and the element we are using is a higher grade than the one that we can also buy for 20tl. Plus we are a limited company and the extra £7.50 is KDV.

So far, since we launched our winter offer, we have done scores of these and have lots of very happy customers. Plus the majority of our customers have requested that we return the same time one year later to do the same again without them having to call us.

As some of the previous posts have suggested, this is not a big profit project and Alsancakjack is absolutely right, this is more about creating awareness of our company and hopefully we will be called back to some of these customers to do other work.

May I also take this opportunity to thank ALL of our customers this year for their valued custom and support of a British company here in Cyprus. We hope that we can continue to provide a quality and professional service and earn us a living, allowing us to stay in this beautiful country.

Thanks

Steve

I have just had my service with the above company and very satisfied, i am having water filters installed by them next week as an add on as i saw what was in the tanks after they drained it down. So maybe not a lost leader after all.

Hi Sheffpants

Can you let me know how one would set up a British Company in North Cyprus as I would be interested in doing the same ( not in your area of expertise). Do you still have to pay the $100,000 or can you just register it as a UK company and operate here? Alternatively it may be easier for me to register the company in southern Cyprus. If you want to email me in private I will give you my email address. Thanks

Hi mistress

I should check with a Lawyer for the latest and most accurate information, however at the time we set up and as far as I know you still need to have a $100,000 bond. There are no proper legal ways around this if you would like to trade here. Sorry cant be of any more use. Oh and it costs a lot of money and takes a long time to set up properly it took us all in all about 8 months!
