This is what is so nice about TRNC. The opening of a petrol station is celebrated in such a welcoming way.



Possibly savour this, as years to come there will no such celerbrations !!

It was meant to try and say cherish these lovely celebrations, as when the area gets more and more up and coming, such celebrations will be forgotton and not carried out . This is what sometimes happens when more and more development takes place, Sad but true !!

Good to hear about it. Don't think they'll stop the celebrations just because of a few incomers!

They do this in Turkey every time a new business opens. Mardo's there is great too, and we do

need a chemist as there isn't one in Esentepe.

Re the supermarket next to Mardos opening . When we we last visited they said it would be open in October . However up to now not open, Should think it will be soon though .

You are right, so many changes in such a short time, all for the best I hope !! Just really nice East way have all on our doorsteps now . Just need a chemist as someone has mentioned .

When i was there at the end of Sept,they said a couple of days.What about the kebab house accross the road from there.Is that now open,
