The Rocks hotel I'm told is good. I know of a very good personal trainer if that is of use.

PUMPS has just opened by the bellapais lights I joined three weeks ago. The gym is fully equipped and there is a good mix of guys and gals. I think they are starting step classes soon and they have a 20 metre pool. Its suits me fine as I live in Bellapais

Sorry, sixpence, but 'the best form of exercise is running / jogging,' may be the best form of exercise for you, but it won't be the case for other people, and is a rather sweeping statement.

The best form of exercise is something that suits the individuals health and circumstances.

Swimming, cycling, lower impact aerobic work, such as incline walking, fitness classes and using cross training equipment and rowers are more beneficial. Plus having a more 'circuit training' approach using resistance equipment, such as weights or resistance bands, will give a more complete workout, and is widely recognised as such.

I hope you are a keen fitness person hoping to find other running friends, and not a fitness instructor!
