Nicosia: Büyük Hamam: The "Grand Bath of the Women" is beautifully restored but the doubt remains: was this really the former Lusignan church "St George the Latin"? Or did the Ottoman Turks really build from scratch this intriguing Hamam after the conquest of 1570/1..? Text, pics and a large map (print and discover the medieval secrets of Walled Nicosia..!).
