Try using Mozilla Firefox! A lot faster and more efficient. Free downloads available if you browse the internet...

This is not an internet explorer problem. I have tried to access several websites with both IE & Firefox and they will not show. Even trying to log into Windows Live Messenger does not work. This must be a network problem in TRNC. Can't be DNS as I have changed mine to Google's.

If one cannot log on to anything then I agree with AndyP - but the original post sounded like "Some of my favourite wont load either", which implied "some did".

Then again, there definitely is something seriously wrong with the ISPs in TRNC! This could well be due to unexpected short power cuts that has always been in fashion in TRNC. It usually effects wireless transmissions more. It is worse during winter when there is thunder and floods. Usually if one waits for 1/2 an hour or so, the internet connection returns.

I have also experienced the same issues,, thought at first it was down to AOL as I could not access emails, but often nowadays internet explorer will not open.

Thanks for all the replies. When I got home just after lunch everything was back to normal, but it has happened before. Out of interest I use Turkcell 3G
