can you drive a car with t.r.n.c plates to the UK

My friend did 8 years ago in a 1.2 toyota yaris.Drove it in uk for a year as well before returning to TRNC with it again.Weather you'd be able to do it now or not,I wouldnt know.Technicaly you shouldnt be able to with TRNC not being recognised.

I agree with Blackbird msg 3 - who would know ? The only time anyone would take any notice if it was parked illegally etc. Living in a tourist area over here, the place is full of cars with foreign plates - nobody seems to notice any more.

Evidently the problem is Bulgaria- they don't allow in TRNC cars if you took the ferry from Cesme to Italy maybe that would be OK.
