Another bit of local info,if you turn left at the row of houses instead of right to the monastery this track takes you to Esentepe marina, you would not believe how many expats don't know where it is.

The above is local info, obviously in error provided by C44-member Gooligan in a thread about a Byzantine monastery.

Anyone know how much a temp berth is at the marina? A friend is thinking of hiring a yacht for a few weeks to travel around the Med sometime and would like to visit while in the Eastern Med.

I was only pointing out a bit of local info and you have to go on the attack once again.I don't think you realise how much of an idiot you make of yourself.

Its Esentepe fishing harbour, not a marina. I don't think there are any yacht berths, its probably too shallow close in. A yacht could find some shelter by anchoring in the bay, if the winds in the right direction.

You need to ask Captain John. He used to have a berth there.

There was a yacht in there 2 weeks ago, about 65ft in length. Our friends came over this year and birthed there yacht in the new harbour in Girne. this was 300 euro for 1 month. water and electric extra. Thsi was july rates.

Make sure they get a TRNC flag if coming over and into the waters here

Does 'in there' mean the bay or the jetty message 9 because I am of the same opinion as message 7
