I had Seyhan Yildirim as Advocate and I went and took my file as I was told he had gone to do his military service. Suggest anyone with them does the same!

Is'nt Yildrim the dogepot that did the dirty on the buyers from Boyut construction, heard he had his finger in that nest of vipers, no doubt he's ran off with all the cash.

Hi D.N,

Wonder if this affects people getting their Kochans through ? Or even delaying them by going out of business?

Spoke to someone yesterday and they didn't even know if they had their PTP through or a number let alone what to do next. Or whom to turn to to get advise.

I informed them to log onto this forum as I had already posted, so they might have some good info and advice as what to do next.

I have heard from another Advocate that he believes Seyhan Yildirim is doing his national service so perhaps he will be back....God forbid!

Standing by the bar last night I was told he has gone to ground.

There is also another group that wants to know his whereabouts, started with an M or something like that.

Remembered where i read it. HBPG meeting with Interior Ministry. I quote.

For over an hour an uncontrolled discussion ensued ranging from the Aga issues to mortgages to permission to purchase. Hasan made and received several telephone calls, some of them to attempt to find answers to our questions, i.e. names of the new Authorities and Department Managers. At one stage he called PTP Manager, Adnan Altin to the meeting to discuss progress with PTP’s. Adnan confirmed that they had approved over 700 applications within the past 22 days and would continue their efforts to clear the backlog of 3.500 applications as soon as possible.

Yes it was 1 year old. The minutes to the meeting can be viewed on HBPG under the reports and meetings section. I believe since this date they have approved 500 so we are still awaiting the approval of 3000. Many of these are PRE 74 from 2006 to present day and are for whole developments.

Why not take your application number and check it out yourself? Is it Pre 74?

No , it is not a pre-74 . It is turquish title deed . I went with my sollicitor to the ministyry of interior last spring and they told me that I have still to wait . I asked them : "Is it a specific problem ?" They answered : "No , but it is like that...!"

During the period approaching the vote for the Annan Plan when hundreds if not thousands of buyers were awaiting PTP for periods of 2 and 3 years or more it was reported time and time again that x number had just been approved, x number will be next week, extra staff taken on, etc, when all the time there was a moratorium so as not to upset "the talks". Bearing in mind there are currently ongoing talks (perhaps to no end) it must be extremely unlikely that there are rafts of PTPs being issued pre 74 or otherwise. Perhaps the only way to gauge the real situation is anecdotal comment from those who recieve it and not take any notice whatsoever of statements or pledges. There was also plenty of incident of offers being made to oil the works by payment of extra monies.

Looking at the title post, was/is there any TRNC Advocate that has ever had a solid board to stand on to go through with or down on, let alone below it!

Go to the PTP office in the same building as where you get your residency. Take your reference number

they will get your file out and tell you exactly what they are waiting for. Could even be you have the

permission, your advocate has been told but has never bothered to tell you.

SAME OLD ADVICE do it yourself.
