Can anybody give me some idea of the new increased cost of road tax for a Mitsubishi Cedia?

None of the above, it is all based on weight of the vehicle. Rough guide in Cyprus today a few weeks ago, if anyone can scan a copy.

hilltop you are right its on weight. my suzuki just cost double this year and insurance went up loads as well. daylight robbery!

What is the fine if your road tax has expired by several months? We tried to tax the car in June before we came home, it expired in July and they wouldn't let us do it then.

We will be back in the UK until late September.

Also I read on another board that if you own your own car, whether resident or not you have to have a TRNC drivers license. Starting to panic now !!!!

Taxed my car on Thursday at Famagusta. I had not realised it had expired May 1st. Expected a large fine to go along with the increased charge.



They did not blink an eye, no fine, backdated the disk to May 1st.



Last year, tax cost 457YTL..................This year, 217YTL ??????



1050kg. Japanese import. now 4 years old.

Our car tax is due for renewal end of this month, please could anyone advise us on where the office is and what documents we need to take with us, we live in Girne. Thank You.
