can anyone shed any light on this shambles here in the trnc? we were told it was done by gps, now been informed they don't have gps.its coming! we were told our plot was measured from the goverment measure points but they are on the map and were not used! i thought the only other way to get a plot measurement correct was to find the axis on a map and take it from there with mathmatical calculation? does anyone know any different? before we knock down our neighbours house ,other neighbours bathroom and close the road, lol.

Plot measurement is done from site plans as it has always been done. The deed office sends their trained men to do it or it can be done by authorised companies who charge a little for this service.

had the so called trained men from the gov. they wouldn't be able to use a tape measure even if they had one! thats my problem. map says one 200 year old wall should be 10metres, they make it 9.40meters in fact we took the tape measure to it and it physically measures 10.20meters. the wall has notmoved or been changed at all.

My neighbour had the Land Registry (PAPU) people around and observed that they used GPS to determine the plot size/location.

greenman they also told us they use gps. now we know plenty regarding gps thanks to the internet. when questioned they admitted they don't have gps, its coming!
