£60 each way transfer

Just been quoted £60 each way for transfers from Larnaca, does this sound right?????? I know fuel has gone up, the last time I looked on this board Ref. transfers about 2 months ago it was about £40.Seems quite a hike.

Just returned from TRNC on Sunday via Larnaca and our transfer was £55 - thought it a bit steep as we only paid £40 in May. When we queried it with our car rental company - Driver Rentals - we were told prices had gone up due to the conversion rate and increased fuel prices.

I am sure you can get a better deal than this. I am not sure who our friends us, but I think he charges around £45.00 I will try and get more information fo you.

Hi Nige yes I hired from them £18 per day for a Chyrysler somenthing focus size car the car is discounted from £22.00 per day as I am an property owner you just have to register with them on there web-site.

I remember the days of a Renault 9 for £12 a day. Off-season you could get a jeep for that.

Hi Nige, Yes Car rental Ford Focus for 2 weeks £19 per then a Zafira for 1 week £26 the prices also include insurance.

We use Simon Harrison to organise transfers & car hire.

Transfers from Larnaca are £40 each way & car hire is £18 per day during September with fully comp insurance & after september it is £15 per day.
