Can any one recomend a shop to supply curtains and blinds at a sensible price.

I have been given two prices and they seem far too expensive compared to uk.

As posted before The Curtain shop on the right going out towards jasmine court.

Best Service, Best Prices out of all we tried. All fitted before we took over in July.

Found we needed another one we missed and Hussein was asked on Wednesday and fitted on Friday.

Very pleasant guy gave us the best service of all our suppliers in TRNC.

Also ,made us some cracking candlesticks to match the curtain poles.

We had a bad experiance with Fiskos. We would not use them again, far too many mistakes and reluctance to repair and replace wrong items

Absolutely for sure.........the Curtain Shop. We popped in last Monday, decision on fabrics and styles made in 10 minutes. Arranged fitting for Friday and actually the boys came Thursday........Job Done !! Price was reasonable as well, you can't compare with UK prices though......everything more expensive in TRNC.

Hi Laptagal,

Curtain shop is on the right coming away from the fountain roundabout towards Lapta. If you see the sign for jasmine Court you have gone too far!

Mispelt his name it is Husseyin and as is a London Turkish Cypriot he speaks

perfect English. They also sell bedding and some wrought iron furniture.

We used Fiskos in 2006. Ordered the curtains, beds, side tables etc whilst there (at the end of a 2 week stay, they came out to measure up etc before we left). Curtains, rails and blinds all fitted after we had returned to UK. No problems at all, looked really good on our next visit. Also had 2 settees and a coffee table made to our specs, again really pleased with them. With the settees, we picked the design and materials we wanted before leaving for UK and emailed 4 weeks before we were due to visit again; they were delivered the first full day we were there. So no complaints at all.

I had my curtains and blinds made to measure by a family run business in Alaykoy - they are very reasonable and I am very pleased with the service and finish: http://www.ozbilenperde.com hope that helps.

Try Ev Decor, near the the old Extend shop in town, she is very good, we have had all our curtains replaced by her as we got them from Fiskos but they were not very good

Watty,

Please excuse my error! My most sincere appologies. The goal must have been scored while we were out on the beach, watching them hang a monkey!!!

We actually bought all our curtains in the uk and took them out with us, but we did have the curtain shop make up two roman blinds for us both about 1800mm width and 1500mm drop and they came out at about £80.00 pounds each fitted so about the same prices as the UK they were ordered on monday fitted on friday.
