Has anyone bought a car from any of the dealers in Lefkosa and if so would you recommend them?

I also bought Tasas Trading they sell Japanese cars (most makes) 2-3 year old plus some new. All are presented very well.

Took your advise and went to Tasas today.

Met Tony...charming guy.

No hard sell...told him what we were looking for, budget etc...showed us what we wanted.

Went and had lunch....came back and took our favourite for a drive.

English guy called Bob was very helpful and guided us through everything......really nice guy.



Even came to our house to collect our passports which are needed to register the car which they are doing first thing in the morning.



Bought our first ever car....2005 Honda Fit under 7,000 miles. Immaculate condition....serviced and valeted before we collect tomorrow and within our budget!!



Thank you both for recommending them.

Wait for the follow up experience of service, any warranty etc. You will not be disappointed.



If you want to leave car for service they occasionally have available a loan. We usually wander over to Metropole to do some shopping, come back and have a coffee. If a longer job, Bob or Ahmed will take you to Lefkosia and you can get taxi back.



A business that I believe has been there about 12 years, understated and a success.

Meseli oto galeri at gonyeli. top service ,no regrets, great price! even went and did all paperwork for me including getting my insurance sorted out. highly recommended !!!!!

They also arranged to get TRNC licenses for us at no additional cost (above the licence fees) and we never had to leave their office as they sent someone to deal with all the queues forms etc.

Good to hear your experiences of the after service with Tasas.

Tony explained all that they offered in regards to this and he seemed to be a totally genuine guy but its always reassuring to hear good recommendations from someone who has had experience of the service offered.



Just out of interest where/what is Metropole?

Being a non driver/car owner up until now hubby and I have been very limited in getting out and about....but all that is about to change!!
