Wonderful chirping and tweeting all light hours in my garden.Seems about 12 of the same small bird, just flying from tree to tree, not often spotted.

Yes, it's lovely. This is a great time of the year, my birds in the garden are singing away, the sun is shining, but it's not hot, beautiful.

They are most likely robins seeking respite from northern climes for the winter. There seem to be a many more than usual.

Not robins, haven't seen any for ages.I've seen what look like warblers drink and washing the edge of my pool.

The noisy ones look like finches.

Yes,must get a feeder from mr.pound tomorrow

Please keep the location secret or the birds will be hanging from some local big game hunters belt.

Caught sight of the singing birds.Looked like a yellow wagtail, that I used to see in Wales.

But this variety is a little smaller,so looked in my book of European birds,I 'm sure it is a bunting, but which kind I do not know.Hopefully more sightings to come and camera ready

Mike, if it had yellow underneath, greyish on top and long tail it is most likely a grey wagtail. (yellow wagtail unlikely as they have mostly finished migrating). Buntings are quite different - very stocky with heavy beak.

Mike. Put some grated cheese out and chopped up bacon rind and fat, I get all sorts of different birds they love this, lots of sparrows at present in a big bush covered in orange berries, they wait their turn for the table in there.

The grey wagtail here is the same as the UK one. The colour may look brighter with the better light here. You can get bird seed in Lemar.
