Just heard from a Cypriot friend that today's Turkish newspapers are saying judgement has been made with regard to the Lordos compensation claim, and that he has been awarded a record sum of money. Does anybody know the facts ?

He has been successful in court, and won the case, but the courts have delayed announcing the amount Turkey has to pay.

Lord of the manor as it were. But I notice that he does not own 100% of all the properties it is mostly quarters and halves and the money awarded is to all (13) people not just him. I look forward to the day the similar terms is offered to me and my family.

It's a 15million euro FINE for Turkey The compensation figure in the Lordos case has yet to be decided. The local Cypriot view of compensation award will be in the region of 200 million euros !!!! This judgement will affect us all !!!
