I know everyone will say "More bloody Puppies" and I'm sorry BUT these are gorgeous and we have managed to home 3 but no luck with the others so far. Mother and Father are both good-looking, strong and Healthy as are these pups. KAR cannot help and will spay the mum if we sort it out, yet again!!!! Because we live in Catalkoy, there is no help from KAR due to their boycott of because the Belediye won't collect teir rubbish from the centre. Jesus, what is wrong with Margaret Ray? How can these animals be penalised cos she can't liaise with the relevant authorities? I've told her to take the rubbish daily down to the roadside for collection. There are many ways to skin a cat!!!! We have wormed and frontlined all these dogs and feeding is getting ridiculous as neighbours will NOT help and apart from the odd person coming around from other areas bringing the odd can of meat, we are struggling to cope. Please anyone who wants a labrador come see them in yigit Sokak by Hz Omer.

These puppies are gorgeous, healthy and deserve a good home. We are due for some wet weather soon which won't be good for their health, if you know of anyone who can home one please contact above.

Mitsi, I took some photos of them last week which I can email to you if you can put a link to them on the forum, or if anyone wants me to email photos to them direct I can do so - suekirbytoms@hotmail.com

Please help if you can .

Thanks Sue and just to let you know 3 more puppies were taken late today so we have a boy and a girl to home now. We had to go out early yesterday and hoped that the neighbours would feed the family. On our return around 4pm all were ravenous and devoured the massive bowls of food in under 4 mins. So, safe to say that the miserable Bar Stewards living in this street ignored them for the whole day. Luckily we'd put fresh water out otherwise they'd have had nothing. Unbelievable eh? These "people" don't think twice about spending huge amounts of cash on new clothes, hairdresser's and nail bars but go into spasm when you ask them for a little dog food. Anyway mother and babies doing fine at the moment. Thanks to you both for all the help so far.Good to know that there are caring folks like you about. To the apathetic, ignorant folks let me say "What goes around, comes around". Maybe next time you get to change places with a dog you've shunned! Yes!!!!!!!

I commend you for looking after these strays and feeding them but you must understand that not everyone likes dogs and some will not feed them for fear of being lumbered with them. These people who you are criticising are your neighbours so it seems. One day you may need their help.

Quarmby, I would rather stick pins in my eyes! Whether you like dogs or not shouldn't come into it. I have to associate with many people that I dislike intensely.( Like begets like ). Last thing I want is to be stuck with any more animals thanks BUT will not sit idly by knowing that these helpless creatures are starving on our doorsteps! No, let me say that these folks have needed me in the past much more than i have ever needed them and you only get to shit on me ONCE!

Seeing as you have a passion for animals and you appear to know how to do things the 'right way'

then I would suggest you set up your own animal sanctuary. I am sure you would find it easy enough to do and to run.

Instead of vilifying KAR , it's co founder and your neighbours, would it not be more pertinent to verbally attack the people who own the "good looking and healthy dogs " for allowing them to procreate indiscriminately . I feel that the solution to this problem is education rather than recrimination.

In response to your second posting I am proud to be associated, albeit in a small way, with KAR who do a wonderful job despite very limited resources. and even less sympathy and I donate money on a regular basis.

msg 9 Please read my latest post. i do not vilify KAR but disagree with their policies. I am not obsequious and have no patience with people in general so would NOT be good at raising funds in order to run a charity .

As for the people who owned and abandoned these defenseless creatures Would that I knew who they were for i would deal with them myself. But, underhanded and sly, like thieves in the night, they dump there animals like bags full of rubbish on anybody's patch but their own. Totally without conscience or care for the animals welfare. Please let there be KARMA. May we all reap what we sow. There are going to be some very outstanding accounts to be settled. Think on everybody. Have you nothing to feel guilty about? Could you have done more. could you have done better. Methinks YES indeed. Many Happy returns everyone until you get it right!

msg 13 you are only a first timer so look forward to many more incarnations until you learn to take the wider view on all species inhabiting this here planet. There is life outside of Alsancak you'd better believe it!

If anyone is interested in the puppies, there are still 5 boys and girls available - the 3 that thought they had a

home were returned but at least they didn't dump them far away from the others and mum.

They are absolutely lovely, I can email photos to anyone who would like to see pics of them. 4 are light cream, have lovely labrador faces and one is dark brown with a white stripe and four white socks. I would guess they are about 12 weeks old as they are quite sturdy now and are feeding well on solid food.

They are in Catalkoy, please email suekirbytoms@hotmail.com or phone 0533 839 8632, or contact Mitsi on

the forum.

Another puppy was homed yesterday leaving 3 females and a male. They are all growing fast and looking really healthy. Father was here all day so we fed him as well but no sign of him today. Hope someone feeds them over the next weeks as we have to leave for family visits, illness etc;

Lixiechick, can you contact us on the number above, or leave a number/email to contact you ?

The pups are living on the road from the Lodge/ Football ground Catalkoy going down towards the sea,

go down to the bungalows and turn left - go down to the end - they are around the road runing left and right here.

If we meet up with you they will come to us as we are feeding them with Mitsi and her husband, we hope you will come and have a look at them.
